Helly Hansen LIFA Stripe Tee, made from 100% Polypropylene, with eyelet construction, 125g/m2 fabric thikness. LIFA keeps you drier! As the layer is directly next to the skin, the rate of moisture transmission it delivers is crucial. Unlike the majority of base layers in the market, LIFA is made from polypropylene and not polyester. Tests have proven polypropylene to be 40 times more efficient than polyester at transporting moisture away from your body, while still keeping you warm. The result--you stay drier!

Generally, we have found the Helly Hansen jackets and sweaters to be relatively large in size. If you are in doubt and in between two sizes, we recommend that you order the smaller size.

Nice alternative to compression LIFA
I've been using LIFA products for years and love them for the great performance their polyprope can deliver, but wasn't always super excited by the compression cut on most of their undergarments. This is a nice alternative to the classic LIFA, I belive it's not a 100% LIFA but a blend of some kind which allows it to be worn loose--great for running and biking. Basically if wind blows through and gets the moisture away from your body, this shirt works great. I wouldn't recommend this for any stop-and-go, like climbing though, you'd be better with classic stripy LIFA there.
Wicks moisture away nicely
I am using this shirt for running and working out at the gym and I really like the feel and performance of it. It's not as tight as some of the Under Armour shirts other guys are wearing but wicks moisture away nicely allowing me to focus on my workout and enjoy it more. No chafing and no crazy odors. Nice shirt.
